What type of equipment is used for histology ?
In doctors’ surgeries: 20 mL vials of formalin with bags (mauve edging) or postal envelopes requiring stamps.
In hospitals: pre-filled 20 mL vials of formalin, pre-filled 60 mL pots of formalin, pre-filled 120 mL pots of formalin, empty 1 L buckets and empty 5 L buckets. We can also provide you with large containers of formalin.
All hospital equipment must be packaged in a purple-edged bag (please see our equipment catalogue).
